Well, my friend, I dont know about one arm BARBELL benches, but I will, from time to time, do my dumbbell presses one arm at a time, keeping one dumbbell static over my body and the other is dropping the weight down and pressing it back up to starting. I do this too with dumbbell presses for shoulders, but not all the time.

The old time stong men used to do one arm clean and jerks, one arm snatches and goofy lifts like that. Imagine going to the gym now, and all of a sudden guys were dressed like they were in the early 1900's and training like they did back then? Like Eugene Sandow.

I have done one arm barbell bench press, overhead press and curls. It is great for the grip and hand strength.

One arm clean and press, one arm clean and jerk, one arm snatch, this was all popular when I started in the 50's. Done many of them. ;)

1 arm clean and jerks, 1 arm clean and press', and 1 arm snatches are awesome. If you've ever used kettlebells you'll know they kick your ass :thumb:
