the comment bout the paper go to vegas. a friend of mine was handed a freaking fliar with gun listings.

I DID go to Vegas, and stayed. So, what flyer are you talking about? A flyer telling him what guns he can buy here? So what? He'd still have to jump through all the hoops just like anyone else before he could LEGALLY buy one. And, by the way, he'd have to show proof of Nevada residency. Out of staters can't LEGALLY buy guns here. Hell, Californians can't even buy high cap magazines here, it's ILLEGAL. So, any questions you have about gun laws in Vegas, just let me know. I'm pretty well informed myself.

ok so it seems at some point this got way off topic here. early in the thread this was more about making it so ffl checks were at gun shows, and such. on that note i see no problem with it what so ever. i will defend that point yes. making it a little bit harder to get a unregisterd gun.

They've been doing background checks as gun shows for a LONG time now. In other words, IT'S ALREADY A LAW. So, what "loophole" are you and the gun grabbing politicians squawking about? There's isn't one. It's a fabricated talking point designed to scare the uninformed into thinking a bunch of crazed lunatics can go out and get their hands on weapons of mass destruction any time they damn well please. But you're supporting it. I agree with an above post, you're an embarrassment to gun owners.

ok here are the facts for my area. fact you can buy a gun in the local paper every saturday. fact google the johnstown swappers meet. gun collectors meet up no ffl checks. you can buy a assortment of diffrent things. regardless of criminal history. fact the guns have to come from some were for people to get them illegaly. fact if gun control were mandated correctly it would work. fact unfortunatly its not. aggreed that areas with stricter gun control laws prohibiting citizens from having firearms have more gun related violence. dc comes to mind. i will not dispute that. i am not uneducated on these issues. vegas you can find many things that are less than legal. i was not speaking of the gun laws. i was simply stating you can find things. apparently my facts are wrong shoot me a pm and i will send you the freaking paper so you can buy a unwregisterd fire arm in my area yes it is that easy around here that is a fact. tell me i am ignorant for saying that. well i can back it up by walking out my front door and grabbing the paper. there are unregulated gun shows that happen all the time around here. hell there is one next weekend fact. there are the facts. that support my thoughts. my thoughts if gun control were enforced correctly it would not be an issue. that is not the case though.

Remove the word gun and replace it with drug. Yeah yeah yeah, there are no drug shows like there are gun shows. Get past the obvious and ridiculous argumentative nonsense and look at the effective results. Our current laws regarding drugs do not result in a positive change nor do these laws help our society achieve the desired results. Drugs are everywhere, anyone can buy anything, and people get so much nasty bunk dope that the death toll is exponentially higher than if illegal drugs were to be made legal. Now we are again looking at gun control with that same mind set. Laws will not change shit, have been proven to make matters worse, and cost too much.

I live in Hawaii and can find the right people to buy illegal guns from anytime I want. What good is more regulation on people who are already following the law if a person can just walk out and get a gun from a thug in a back alley? Shouldn't we make it easier for the law abiding amongst us to purchase things to defend ourselves and loved ones against those who don't give a shit about the laws, my loved ones or me?

And they're an Island. We have thousands of miles of borders (a lot of which is with the shit-hole that is Mexico). Plus, we import more than any other country on the planet.

Ok, that's funny. Not very nice of him, but funny. I will say, he didn't do a great job of "teaching his wife" as she has her finger on the trigger the entire time. That's a no no. Guns are ALWAYS loaded until you personally prove otherwise. I have been around a few very experienced shooters who had an AD due to forgetting that all important safety rule. It's simply good habit to always have your finger indexed on the side of the gun unless planning to fire at intended target.

Has a high cool/novelty factor, but I wouldn't want it as a primary SD weapon thats for sure.
