Globalization is a natural progression. Blaming the US for people losing their jobs through outsourcing is the same thing as blaming America for it's immigration problem.

If Mexico fixed their standard of living along w/ rest of central America, we wouldn't have an immigration problem (problem? if the immigrants left the economy would implode, jsut hadta add that it for all you Frist fans)

If Asian countries met the American view on working we wouldn't have this problem either.

However, neither are going to happen anytime soon, America's time as the big dick is ending.

Something has got to be done about the Electoral College. It is an out dated dinosaur that has outlived its usefulness. Now, communication technology more then allows us to start voting for president using popular vote. I do not understand why the American people haven???t demanded this to be changed. Actually, now that I think about it I do know why. Most Americans don't know what the Electoral College is.

By we I mean America. Do you think I would vote for Bush? He's a joke as a president, as is most of Congress. Back to outsourcing though...the problem lies with the countries allowing such long hours and little pay...not with America. You can't jsut go ask a business to up their spending 80% just out of goodwill.

I said illegal immigration isn't just our fault... it's mostly to blame on Mexico and Central America for their horrible standard of living and poverty. The hispanics feel inclined to find their way into a better way of living and in any way possible.

It's the same with outsourcing. It falls on the Asian countries who allow such low wages and long hours. You can't expect American businessmen, white OR black, to lose money in order to employ Americans.

ALSO, people take jobs for granted. Americans jsut expect to be paid a good amount and have a job available. Chinese and Mexican illegals or overseas workers are jsut ahppy to have a job.

That is a way too simple way to look at it, yes we are not 100% at fault but we have to fix our flaws before blaming others. Simple way to deal with China and the slave labor they enforce.....treat them like Cuba.

IMO, there will always be a way into our country, the only way to stop it is to make them feel like they don't have to.
