I had an mri done of my lumbar spine and on the summary it says mild disc bulge for L1-L5 with disc compression at L5/s1

My nuero surgeon recommended that I visit pain management. I'm in a non legal 420 state and I 420 so I'm worried about a drug test . I'm on flexerall and gabapentin 3x a day

Anyone have any experience with pain management and if you fail a drug test what happens?

I spent considerable time going to pain management because I had no disk between L4&L5 I had many spinal injections to knock down the pain. In my case it only lasted as long as I did no exercise, no lifting, no working on my cars etc. If I did anything but sit on my ass the pain was back within a few hours of the activity. Ended up getting L4&L5 fused. But in all the time I was dealing with the pain and getting ready for surgery, there was no drug test. I had blood drawn before the surgery, but that was the only time there was any testing and even then, I doubt they would test for illegal drugs, the blood work was to make sure I didn't have any hidden infections or high cholesterol or anything that would kill me under anesthesia.

The pain management had no bloodwork, they ask questions, they use MRI and XRay and when they do the injections they use a fluoroscope so they can see or watch the needle as they push it into your spinal cavity.

Did they make you go thru physical therapy before the MRI or did they do it right away?

I never went to pt they wanted me to but no car so they did the mri

I'm trying to get one of my neck because my pain travels to my arms & hands . I go for neck xray Wednesday

My appointments got moved up to Friday. I'm kinda worried like what if they dont give me pain pills because I 420 but I 420 because the pain . Man I hope they don't watch me pee I can't pee with someone matching

I had a herniated S1/L5 and tried every type of non-surgical treatment out there, then finally had surgery and never had another issue.

I got referred to physical therapy and I have to have an epidural and get an xray of my neck. They said my leg muscles were tight which is why I have trouble walking and they did not piss test me or give me any drugs at all.

I go Wednesday to meet with my hematologist/oncologist to get blood tests then Friday I see my regular doctor to get a blood test for my cholesterol and to have them check out my toe . It has a black spot on my left big toe near the upper part of my nail and I need more blood pressure pills
