what is $60k for Phil just a couple of months for his heavy GH cycles :P

Congrats to Phil .. That's 285,000 in prize winnings in 2 weeks! Time for another Bentley. This guy was 170 pounds in 2001 as a small point guard in College. Just unreal genetics!!

id wager 65% drugs, 10% food, 10% training, 15% genetics

bring on the haterz

I saw him win the 2005 NPC Junior Nationals. He was head and shoulders above anyone else on that stage. He won the show without a question. George Farah was sitting next to me and said something to the effect of "Wait until you see this guy he is going to win the show. Then he will win the USA and get his pro card. One day he will be Mr. Olympia". I was thinking yea whatever man. It is crazy how other pros know stuff like this. Pretty sick when a pro BBer is able to see that type of potential.

I was just looking at a picture Prince posted, I was ohping Kai would win this one at least...

imo those radical transformation for most of the pro bodybuilders are mainly due to the peptides-gh-slin.

Success in BBing is : 20% politics, 10% genetics, 10% training, 10% nutrition, 10% AAS, 10% insulin, 5% peptides, 10% GH, 10% a bitch you won't stab to death during prep, 5% gay for pay

I'd say 60pc genetics...

that's what everyone was saying back in the 80's but we have guys on the npc stage at national qualifiers who would blow the 80's olympias out of the water

did the genes get better? or did they start taking more drugs?

There hasn't been anybody since the 90's with genetics like Phil. And even then, there hasn't been cartoon looking muscle built in just 11 years of training to the degree of Phil's shape and conditioning. IMO. coffee

Just to bring your attention to something.. being able to respond to the drugs you pump into your body and grow to unreal proportions is also a part of the vaguely used word "genetics". If you take phil heath and a random "athletically challenged" individual and made them train, eat, take the same dugs etc... you think they will make similar gains?? If not, what would be the difference maker?

I think genetics play a roll in how well you respond to the AAS as well. If I'm not mistaken Phil took like 1 year off after turning pro. He put on like 60lbs in that year. I'm sure genetics played a roll but honestly having people coach your drug use to perfection is what that is about.
