Hey everyone...

Just thought I'd start a thread and see who on the board is from areas in and around Phoenix. I'm in the process of looking for work there and would love it if anyone could give me any leads they might have. Even if it's a good job search engine. Or maybe you work there? and could give me some insight?
I'm looking for work related to IT, whether it be networking or just tech support and anything that falls inbetween. What are some big businesses that would be good to apply at etc etc, in a lot of cases they don't even advertise for employees.

Try checking with the Civilian Personnel Office on Luke Air Force Base. Most Air Force Bases hire a lot of contractors in the IT field.

Yep, I only know a few bay area ones I'm going to try and get myself in a government position, lots of days off and pretty good job protection

Sun Microsystems has an office in Phoenix.

There have been a lot of layoffs here lately and the job market is pretty tight. I do see positions for IT work more often than others.
