PIP and Squatting

Right now I am using a 23g 1.5" for a weekly 250mg dose of Test E. I just started so it could be a rookie thing, but sometimes the site is sore which hinders my squat. I am doing the Starting Strength program which has me squatting 3 times a week, so there's no way around it.

My question is will switching to a 25g 1" or 1.5" needle help with PIP? I really want to follow the program as is, so I don't want to simply "stop squatting."

I wouldn't change the needle size. Unless you are pretty lean. You want that oil as deep as possible. I get more pip when I use a 1 inch on my ass. It's probably just virgin tissue. Hang in there. If it gets hot and you can't sleep on it then you might have an issue. Minor discomfort is to be expected until you muscle gets used to the added oil/solvents/gear.
 
My shoulders are least painful spot. And yes virgin tissue sucks, but some gear has more pip. My pharmacy paddock has none and agent yes has none. I have had others that dam near crippled me.
 
Where are you injecting? Get some smaller needles and pin your delts.

Split up your injection to twice a week and that should help since youre pinning less volume. 25g pins are perfect for delts and quads. Test e in the glute really shouldnt be to painful, are you pushing the oil slowly?

Yes, I take 30 seconds to push the oil in and then I leave the needle in for another 30 seconds. Lastly, I apply pressure to the area for 60 seconds.
 
You just have to work through it. It won't hinder your squat. When you first start pinning it hurts. That's the way it is. Get some of those thermo heat patches from Walmart. Slap one one after you pin. Helps Alot

Just an update on my PIP problem. I saw that some recommend heating the vial before injecting. So, I microwaved some water in a shallow dish and placed the vial in there for a few minutes. I did this the last 2 pins. No pain and no blood. Impressive.
 
Pin before you squat and not after. Pinning after legs is killer.
You could use a 1" needle for glutes no problem, depth truly is not an issue for absorption. Deeper doesnt mean better.
Also try taking an advil or ibuprofen an hour before injecting, that will reduce pain and inflammation at the site causing less PIP.
 
I have noticed a difference in pip when I warm the oil up first. It really drops the pip a lot for me.
 
I've also read on other forums of people baking their gear in a water bath in the oven at ~200F. If you want to try this make sure you vent the vial with a syringe needle making sure the end of it doesn't touch the oil. If it's touching the oil it will come out due to the pressure change from the heat.
 
Warming it will just thin the oil out. I don't warm gear I just try to work whatever muscle I inject into that day. That seems to help quite a bit with PIP. Eventually it goes away and you wont have it unless you mess up, increase volume, or change sites.
