please crtitique the diet

1 egg and 5 egg whites
1/2 cup oatmeal

1 TBS Flax Oil

M2
40g protein shake

can of tuna

M3
1/2 cup brown rice
1.5 cup vegis

M4
40 g protein shake
8 oz chicken breast and 1 apple

M5
2 eggs and 4 egg whites
1 apple
1 TBS Flax Oil

M6
40g protein shake

Can you post the macro division ( carbs, pro, fat ) and the total calories? Somehow I think it is not enough yet. :)

too much protein in meal 2 and you need carbs and fat there also

you have no protein or fats in meal 3

meal 4 has too protein and i would have a complex carb instead of fruit

meal 5 - again i would add a complex carb and ditch the fruit

meal 6 - never take protein alone. add some fats there (cottage cheese is excellent before bed)

what meal is post workout? that might change things a bit.
 
better..? im trying not to eat too many carbs before my workouts

why are you trying to not eat carbs before your workouts..

where did you acquire your current "knowledge" of nutrition? you realize that you should be consuming carbs AROUND your workout time, don't you? that's the best time to eat carbs...pre and post workout..
 
i was under the impression that if i consumed carbs pre workout, i would burn them as energy instead of fat, and i dont want to do that.

your diet looks great man, unfortunatley this is my first cutting diet attempt and i dont know much more about then what ive read going back in forth from the nutrition post to my piece of notebook paper.

if you dont mind i'd like to use a similar diet to yours, because it looks really good and your body is very similar to mine at the moment

no problem dude, we all start somewhere.

yeah you could add a couple things to mine to hit at least 2000 calories and then work from there.

keep your fat 30-40g at least

this is a pretty good foundation for a clean diet. remember later on down the road if you want to change things up because you're getting bored of eating the same thing you can just switch out foods but keep similar nutrient facts, obviously
 
you gonna keep a log? i'm going to start one up, either here or over at avant labs
