I think I have an infection because I have a 100 degree fever, and a semi warm ass cheek that happens to be sore as fuck. I used a 23 gauge 1 1/2 needle.
Stats: 24 years old, 5 ft 10 in, 240 lbs, probably 12 % bf
Cycle history: too many to count, this isn't my first rodeo guys, Ive just never had an infection before.

None of here can properly diagnose it though. Time to head to the doc's office.

Thanks for the quick responses. It was not a sponsors gear on this forum. I just started to run the fever a couple of hours ago. I pinned last night.

This.. and unless the symptoms are brand new, I wouldn't wait. It's best not to try and self medicate if you haven't gone through it before. It's not worth potentialy getting half your ass cut out over something as easy as a dr. visit.

Im sure you guys are right about going to the doc's office. I do not have insurance, I can go if I absolutely have to but don't they usually give a standard antibiotic anyway?

Your body very well could kill off the infection on it's own. It's fairly early.. but I would keep a close eye on it. Zpack wouldn't hurt. But the doc is my best advise.. and If it were me.. I would go tomorrow.

I had the same symptoms, my ass even swelled up a pretty damn noticeable amount, lasted almost exactly a weak and just went away. I barely ran a temp tho, mostly just couldn't walk or sit... lol

It's probably a staph aureus infection. ZPak will work on that.

BTW, always make sure to wait for the alcohol to evaporate before putting the needle through.

OP - Do you swab the stopper and the injection site thoroughly before touching the needle to those surfaces? And you let the alcohol dry of course, correct? All necessary precautions taken?

All precautions were taken bro. I don't think it's my sources fault though because I have been using the same gear for a long time and this was not the first injection from either bottle. I just think shit happens sometimes. It's right after finals for me and I have been sleeping about 3 hours a night for the past couple weeks. I think my immune system is just much weaker than normal honestly.
