I've received a lot of conflicting information about what to eat immediately after a workout.
I always finish with a whey protein shake but should I be having any sugar (in chocolate or apple juice etc) as well? I'm not sure whether it helps replenish lost energy and aid recovery or will it simply be converted (eventually) to fat?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
