Why all the derogatory Middle Eastern comments?
It is probably not a good idea to try something with a woman who you work near and may see often, BUT... if you really feel this is something you really want, I say go for it. What's life without risks? You never know how her situation is with her boyfriend.. she may want out, especially when given what she feels is a better option. Just don't treat her like shit and I don't think you will have to worry about any sexual harassment issues.

A) A good possibility you will regret this if you suceed. Works not a good place to fuck around, and you will almost certainly have to see her, or her collegues in the know, if it all turns sour. The rumour mill will grind into action and you will get funny looks and comments at the least, depending on how much she lets her colleagues know.
B) On the other hand, why let work rule your life? Work to live or live to work? Lifes too short, at the very least test the water, see what the scoop is, a bit of harmless flirting never hurt anyone. It would piss you off if another colleague got in there.
