This has now fallen into the wastebasket discussion about whether one food item is healthier then another with a side rail issue about the founder of the company dying of a heart attack, then back to one food item being healthier than another with the major issue being quite rightly about how the labels are completely wrong and the advertisements are a complete sham!
the last point seems to have thrown a long dark shadow over all protein bars. Since a protein bar is not chicken, rice and some green leafy vegetable- it is relegated to garbage status. it's the junk bond of the food industry.
These bars are now being held to the same standard occupied by alfalfa and brussel spouts.
