Well folks. As on Thursday afternoon I underwent a lumbar fusion and a Pars Interarticularious correction surgery. The surgery lasted a total of 8 hours, three longer than scheduled due broken hardware removal from a previous failed surgery. I hope for once and all my problems are over and my pain level is returned to an acceptable level. Fingers crossed. Here are some pics from before the surgery of the bilateral pars fracture and broken crews from the repair. The surgeon said the amount of nerve root compression is the worst he's seen on anyone during his 17 year practice.

And, this is the angel I have to take care of me? Mmmmmmmmm, sometimes life has its way of bringing fortune to the most unfortunate of circumstances.
