Yes and NO
Preacher's are a great lift, if done correct. This movement (I feel) is best when doing moderate Lbs. with very strict form. People often time's go down too far on the movement. People feel if you don't get the "stretch " at the bottom of the movement it's not working. This is false. Try partial rep's with this one. Go down until your arm's are almost fully extended and come up till your arm's are at 90 degrees. (if you come up too far it takes stress off the muscle giving it a break.... not good keeo stress on the Bi. at all times.) I'm no expert, my elbow's hurt all the time from boxing, so this is how I do my Preacher's. Hope it help's
