My natural testosterone levels are below the normal range. The doc said she is going to put me on injectables. I've tried the gel before to no avail...My question is, what types of test are available for legit US prescription?

Sus?
Ethanate?
Cypionate?

and what would the best choice be, as this doctor pretty much leaves it up to me...

Thanks

They will probably put you on Upjohn stuff, how frequent will your injections be allowed?

I have heard of as low as 200mg per month, which is not enough for any bodybuilding benefit really.

I agrea with mudge on this one, for hrt treatment they will probely put you on upjohn cyp

I am surprised your doc is going to do injectables, it's not a common treatment for low T levels.

The problem with injectables (to treat this problem) is most likely you will get a shot either once per month or once every 2 weeks (once per month is more common). So, your T levels will spike for the first few days/week then get low, so basically it's very unnatural for your body.

Treatments such as gels are applied daily keeping your T levels in normal range 24 hours per day, so there are no high and low points.

I did the gels for a few months...double dose, 2 packs per day. brought my levels to about midrange. SHe had mentioned that the substance is oily..is the UPjohn stuff oil based or water based? and, is it any good if I can get weekly injections, which is what she recommended...

Thanks,
Joe

10G Androgel packs twice a day brought me to about 600 from a low of 330. I just redid my tests again after being off the gel for about three months and it came back at 230

i know it...and i can definitely feel a difference since it dropped even more. So, what are some of the injectables Dr.s prescribe? or is it just the Upjohn stuff...if Upjohn is it, is it sufficient to boost my levels?

Thanks

Hey Joe what were your levels on the test report.

I just got mine checked, I am at 270 and the doctor won't o hit about it.

Muscle Gelz Transdermals
IronMag Labs Prohormones
mine just came back at 230..I believe the range is 230-1100 or something close to that...my first test a few months back was 330 and the doc put me on gel. My Doc is very into hormone therapy and will basically let me try things as long as she gets to tell me the side effects, etc...thats why I'm trying to figure out what kinds of Test docs can legally prescribe in the U.S.

How old are you, I am 28, my dr. won't do shit for me because it's in the normal range by 30.

I'm 33...are you just going to a regular Dr? I am seeing an endocrinologist. The regular Doc I saw was just a general practioner and she wouldn't prescribe Androgel. So I went to an Endo and she is willing to help me out.

actuely the ester of cyp will lead to a longer acting effect of a spike pers say. yes the hrt doctors are much more understanding if you want more info u might check out swales sight on hrt

do you have a link?

Joe, the only water based test is suspension and they are not going to prescribe that since shots have to be taken daily. The most comenly prescribed test for test therapy is enanthate.

Well...the doc prescribed Cypionate. I was a little nervous to do the first injection since the needle was 1.5 inches long. Turns out it was basic..no big deal. Damn, that stuff isnt cheap though, but I feel a hell of a lot better.

Joe

How does one know if they have a low test levels? what would the symptoms be?

Some symptoms of low T:

Emotional, psychological and behavioral changes
Decreased muscle mass
Loss of muscle strength
Increased upper and central body fat
Lack of energy, concentration and motiation
Cardiovascular risk
Decreased sex drive

all correct except for Cardiovascular risk, that is not really a symptom. ;)

When you say you feel good now, exactly what do you mean, did you have mood swings and lack of concentration before starting Test?

If so how does it make you feel in that way?

Thanks.

I would say if anything before thes test you would not have mood swings, just more of a depressed mood.

And with the test mood swings would be much more likely.

Prince nailed it...not really swings, Ive just basically been depressed. Not really thrilled with anything, not motivated, easily annoyed, hard to think straight and clearly, etc...

But now, my mood has elevated greatly, Im having a blast playing with my kids and my lifting sessions have been so intense that I can barely move now Im so sore.

PB& J..Ive read your other posts and Im really interested to know how it works out for you. We tested at about the same levels, low 200's. I hope the endo helps you out. Please keep me informed and if you want any more details, specifics, etc...feel free to keep this post going, PM or email (joecamp@socal.rr.com)

I dont fully understand what the supporting evidence is that test causes violence in people, I dont understand the claim. Low T though can definately cause problems, or just about any abnormal hormonal balance, will certainly affect us in some way or another.

Can how though? Can via simply being way out of the normal range? Can because it would also cause a raised estrogen level?

I see plenty of angry bald men, but through my own experience have trouble understanding or believing the claims I've heard.
