Hey All,
I often struggle to eat meals between breakfast/lunch and lunck/dinner. My work only allows me a few minutes here and there at these times.
I have been looking at these protein bars: http://www.aussiebodies.com.au/products/bars+and+snacks/hplc+bar.htm
Nutritional Information
Contents Per Server 100g
Energy 1635kJ(390.7Cal)
Protein 45.1g
Fat 14.9g
Carbohydate
-Total 18.2g
-Sugars 8.7g
Sodium 70mg
Potassium 390mg
INGREDIENTS: CHOCOLATE
PROTEIN BLEND (WHEY PROTEIN CONCENTRATE, SOY PROTEIN, WHEY PROTEIN ISOLATE, CALCIUM CASEINATE), ESSENTIAL LIPID BLEND (EVENING PRIMROSE OIL, FLAXSEED OIL), MILK CHOCOLATE (COCOA BUTTER, FULL CREAM POWDER, SUGAR, COCOA LIQUOR), INULIN, EMULSIFIERS (322, 476), HUMECTANTS (422, 1200), FLAVOURS, ARTIFICIAL SWEETENING SUBSTANCE (955), POTASSIUM SORBATE, WATER ADDED.
I usually eat a third of these for a mid-morning snack or afternoon snack. My priority I am trying to lose fat at this point.
Any comments on these bars would be appreciated. If they are not so good, is there something equally as convenient?
Thanks for any help!!
