Protein drink

I am currently on a Protein drink from GNC http://www.gnc.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2133687&cp&origkw=TR+Protein&kw=tr+protein&parentPage=search. The protein directions tells me to drink it before or after a workout. I usually work out every other day, and just seeing if its ok/good to drink this everyday even without me working out?

Protein shakes are good to supplement any diet, used when you dont have the time etc to eat. They are best taken pre and post workout. Why are you training every day 7 days a week is too much. I'd say 3-5 max depending on your routine, I'm going back onto my push/pull/legs routine asap. three days training four days to refeed/rest

im not training everyday, just every other day.

Sorry my mistake. Well I'd give it a skip on your non training days unless you want to have it for breakfast/last thing at night

i eat 5-6 whole food meals, and 2-3 shakes. if i have 6 meals, i will have 2 shakes, on days i eat 5 meals, i have 3 shakes.

I usually use 60g whey. it is fine to take them even when not working out.

best times are post workout, bed, and upon rising in the morning.

So on workout days thats up to 4 shakes a day? Thats alot of shakes, I never go above 24g with my shakes cus as I understand it the body cant utilise more than 30g of protein in 3 hours.

depends. I mean shakes are easy protein, bt i always eat within an hour and a half after. some people absorb more than others.
