2 Frozen Bananas*
1 scoop protein powder (or more if you like)
1/2 cup low carb milk
(makes 2 servings)
* break up ripe bananas into a few pieces and put in ziplock/sandwich bag in the freezer. (at least a couple of hours or over night). (you can also keep some in the freezer for a couple of weeks for future use)
In blender, add all ingredients and mix on LOW. My blender has a very low setting and it just "churns" into an ice cream texture.
Sprinkle a drop or 2 of Vanilla & a dash of cinnamon while mixing to add a nice "real vanilla bean" flavor.
If the mix seems too soft, you can add a couple of ice cubes at a time to thicken. But, if you start with a slow churn, you shouldn't need to add ice.
TOP With:
crushed nuts to add fat
Or to make into an ice cream sundae, add a squirt of light whipped cream (from can) and a squirt of light hershey syrup! YUM!!!
