Hi, recently i have been drinking some kind of a protein shake.
I have been putting 3 eggs, Milk , and some chocalate coco into a blender.
Is that any good to drink? Or do you guys have any other things i could drink that have alot of protein?

No cocoa. If you need milk, use skim. But water is the best bet. Also, make sure your shake mix consists of whey protein.

Alright.
But i dont have any whey protein. So what would be the best thing to drink in it without whey protein?

Do not drink raw eggs, you can get salmonella disease. Get yourself a quality protein powder.

I agree. Besides, :barf:

No cocoa.

Why? This is ridiculous, so I'd like to see some attempt at an explanation.

Why? This is also ridiculous without any context. Or do you believe this is valid under every circumstance imaginable? How do you know he is not bulking, or an endomorph?

Again, why? I am a fan of whey, but it is not the best source of protein under all circumstances. Do you even realize that whey is a product of milk? Your entire post lacks any context.

To the original poster: Milk and eggs can make for a decent protein shake, if you refuse to use a protein powder. There are many who believe that raw eggs are very valuable, if tested to ensure quality and freshness. I suggest you look into this if you wish to continue using them.

Unsweetened cocoa powder can be very useful for taste. Make sure it is a quality brand and sugar free (unless of course, there is some reason you want the sugar) and use an artificial sweetener.

Regular milk contains healthy fats, and can be valuable in certain circumstances, but if you are looking to lose fat, it is calorically dense and skim milk is a better choice.

Ok thanks alot.

ben if you want a slow digesting protein throught out the day try cassein, which digets slowlly in your system giving you a slow release throughout the day and supple of protein. whey is a great protein in water post workout to replenish the body asap. whey in milk or heavy cream can also give you a slow release much like cassein throughout the day or before bed.
