Hey!

Ok, I juss read the article on this thats says UP TO 1g of protien if ur involved in weight training!!!....

ONLY UP TO 1g???!!!!

Others say 1.5-2g IS perfect?/

???!!??!
i weight 155?? How much should i take?!?!

how much do u ppl take?

T.P

iv been takeing 1.5 for awhile now.n i thought i was right ..but i dun know nemore.

really? hmm i heard 1 g per pound of bodyweight was just enough...like if ure 180 then u should have 180g....maybe im totally wrong tho because its harder for me to hold back on protein rather than tryin to eat enough.:p

1g/lb bodyweight is the very minimum I would suggest. 1.5g/lb being ideal IMO. :)

1g per pound is good, if you're trying to avoid protein-related malnutrition if you're an athlete...you want to stay in positive nitrogen balance all the time and ensure your body as much high quality muscle-building fuel as possible, at a constant rate, personally I go as high as 2g per pound, I've even gone to 2.4 g while cutting, but that's just me. My essential fat intake every day is always constant, it's just my protein and carb levels that I play with on a daily basis, but my protein never really goes below 1.6.

Peace.

wow...so ure sayin if a person like me wnats to get bigger (140 lbs)...i should have about 220-280 grams of protein per day?
