Hi all,
Im wondering about the effects of protein and when to consume it in terms of when it will be at its most effective in conjunction with weight training.
My main quesiton is if i was to eat foods high in protein 24 hours the day before weight training, does the protein stay in my body long enough to help rebuild muscle tissue for the following day when i actually do the training? Is there any benefit at all to this as opposed to eating foods with little or none protein the day before?
Also when i visit the gym and try to weight train i find that i lose energy to lift the weights very quickly and I struggle to find the motivation to push harder because my muscles feel that they just dont want to go on. Is there anything i can consume that will give me an energy boost but thats low in calories and fat that will help me?
