Would any of you let your fiancé tell you how you should act?

I feel like a child when she bitches at me about how I am and how I should be

I love her to death
But I don't think someone should tell u how to act
 
I just had a convo like this with my wife yesterday.
I talked about buying another bike this summer, and she said "I don't know why you're even asking me, you're going to do it anyway".
I said damn, you know me good, huh? to which she replied "I've come to accept it".
Its all about accepting each other for the way you are.
Sure, somethings might annoy you, but you know what you're getting into when you're with someone long enough.
If you're a completely jackass douchebag(which I don't think you are), then yeah, you might want to work on it.
If its small flaws that she knows about you, she should accept that shit or kick rocks.

When you get married, your wife will try to change you. She'll test just how much she can control you. It's your job to work with her to find a happy medium. If she's too controlling, you'll feel smothered. If you're too controlling, she'll feel smothered. Either of those makes for a shitty relationship. Some women aren't testing the waters, they're simply trying to control you. You need to make her understand that's not acceptable. If she continues to try to control you, ditch the bitch.

Let me be clear, I'm not telling you to "be the man" and "put her in her place." 'Cause then you'll be the asshole that she needs to ditch.

I will allow my woman of 13 years to believe she is molding me, but when it comes to certain times I can tsunami or even just gently pour past the gaps in her walls. She has been good to me though, when my manic self destructive side comes out she guides me to direct my energies to my creative pursuits. Many times I have described her as the June to my Johnny Cash side.... We could be Sid and Nancy if she folded everytime I went a bit wild....

Yeah Women are a pain in the ass and say retarded shit sometimes. Gotta know when to pick your battles. If you know u were out of line....then agree with her. If she's full of shit u have to let her know. otherwise before u know it she runs the show.

I usually just ignore mine lol!! she goes to bed early so I get a few hours of peace lol.
 
I noticed that when I was with woman around my age they always had some input. My first wife changed everything about me, then she ran off with her boss. You need a younger woman thats doesnt think she is as mature as you, my new wife is 13 years younger and loves everything I do, I'm sure it will wear off after a few years.

god im lucky man, i never get bitched at period, am never told what to do, how to act nothing. Now if i could just keep her out of my clen stash! Im never asked to not buy gears either, shes even learning. i feel for all you guys who get shit, if i was rich id send everyone a bottle of test everytime their spouse treats them like shit!

Im very stubborn and set in my ways but if u ever want something to last u have to compromise. This doesn't mean being a pussy whipped bitch. Certain things Im gunna do to make me happy and that's that. I can go out of my way to make a girl happy tho

I mean I have expectations too. Wouldn't stay with a girl that doesnt love to blow me or have a sense of humor

She let up a little last night and told me she's being so hard on me cause he has been in serious relationships before and she knows what she wants, I on the other hand was a hitter and quitter before I met her. I think I only get shit like this when I piss her off, so i keep a calm and happy mood I shouldn't get shit like this, I love her to death I want this to work. I just feel like I'm ready for bigger things and she still acts like a teen sometimes, she's almost 20 and im 21 and ever since I've met her I've become a home-body and she hates it .

I'm waiting for her to get over the teenage party phase.
 
Ah the party phase, something most girls I meet are still enjoying even in their late 20s...

I think the more attractive the girl, the longer she'll most likely stay in party zone.

Nobody at 20/21 knows what they want! AND if she thinks she knows what she wants but she is trying to change you, then obviously you aren't the right person for her and again this means she doesn't know what she really wants.

I didn't know what I wanted until my mid-30's. So thankful I met my husband in my 30's and not my 20's.

Nobody is perfect and everyone has their little quirks. The decision on each of your parts in a relationship is finding out if those are quirks you can live with or do they drive you insane. If they drive you insane get out because it will never work in the long term.
