Do you have a capper?
Usually, you would use a filler of some sort (Glutamine <only thing that it's good for>, absorbic acid, psyllium, protein powder etc) and mix it with your active.
So, for the sake of conversation, let's say that you wanted to cap 200mg of R-ALA (BTW....you may want to switch to regular ALA or KR-ALA) and your capsules hold between 500-800mg of product (depending on compaction, density etc.).
I would say to shoot for the 600mg mark (it takes trial and error to really quantify how much of each chemical to put into caps....so keep a log once you figure it out). A standard Cap-em-Quick holds 50 caps so you would put 10 grams of R-ALA into a baggie. You now have 20 grams which are unaccounted for in your caps. So you would then use 20 grams of Vitamin C, psyllium or other actives which you may be using to fill up this void. Put these components into the same baggie. Break up the clumps, shake the crap out of it (hint: if you use something of color, you can be certain that you have a pretty homogeneous mixture). Then dump it on your capper, scrape, tamp, scrape, tamp, scrape, tamp, cap.
If you do not have a capper, then you could do the same thing and just figure out how many units of measure (a teaspoon for example) you will be making and calculate it from there. The idea is "dillution of the active".
