I just started a Cyclical Ketogenic Diet and I had a question regarding carbohydrate intake. Before jumping on the keto diet, I had picked up a box of protein bars to use as breakfast since I'm not the type to wake up and prepare a meal before I start the day. I don't have class until 3:45pm on Monday and Wednesday, so I hit the gym first thing in the morning. The bars I purchased have 34g net carbs in them. Since I would be going to the gym for heavy lifting and cardio after eating it, would it be acceptable to eat half a bar(17g carbs) when I wake up before I go?

I use a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet to track the date, my weight first thing in the morning, weightlifting/time, cardio/time, total calories, fat(g), carbs(g), protein(g), and sugar(g). With my extremely carnivorous diet as of the last couple days, carbs are almost always 0-1g per food I will eat, so there really wouldn't be many others than the bar in the morning. Post workout protein has 8g, cottage cheese before bed has 5g, and casein before bed has 6g. According to my spreadsheet for today, everything else was pretty much steak, bratwurst, ground beef, tilapia, and hard boiled eggs.

For the record:
5'9" tall
189 lbs
23 years old

I'm sure I left something(s) out. If additional information is needed or anything needs clarification, I will be more than happy to provide it.
Thanks in advance.
