Question:
For someone looking to kick start his metabolism, i know the rule of thumb is to eat several meals (good clean meals) every 2.5 to 3 hours apart. Good meals meaning the right amount of proteins, carbs and fat. Now, if someone was doing a low carb diet and wanted to up the intake of carbs,is this technic good or workable: Start by eating 6 meals with high proteins at first with low carbs to just keep the metabloism working or for kick starting it, then after a while and the metabolism is working add the carbs.
Is this a good technique>?
will the already started metabolism keep working or burning the new carbs been added?
does the metablosim stop again after adding carbs and have to start all over?
If someone can explain how and what is the best way to avoid hitting a plateau or avoid gaining weight, please....
thanks.
