I normally do Pullups. I do 2 sets of bodyweight wide grip pullups (palms facing away) for 12reps. Then the same workout but weighted for 8-10reps. The weight added is 25-45 lbs, whatever I feel like that day. All the pullups are full ROM, full stretch to full contraction. Anyway, when I do pulldowns, its MUCH harder than weighted pullups. Is that normal? Shit, I was struggling today on 160lb pulldowns vs. what I normally do for pullups.
I was reading today about pullups behind the neck. Now I see all the time that shoulder press behind the neck is shitty, as well as, behind the neck pulldowns, but behind the neck pull ups? Same thing?
And I guess one more thing, how many pull ups are too much? Lets say you do 4 sets of wide then 4 sets of chins, is that enough for your lats and bis?
