Have your protein shake straight after training + your required carbs and the crreatine... Do not seperate it by 25 minutes....Hlanderr said:Is it good to have a banana with my PWO shake? I couldn't find a post that regards it to the PWO shake..... I'm trying to gain weight too.
thanks
taking his creatine (Vitargo) w/ food, protein, any other source of cal, decreases the % of absorbtion.Emma-Leigh said:Have your protein shake straight after training + your required carbs and the crreatine... Do not seperate it by 25 minutes....
Also - One banana will not be enough - but how much you want for carbs will vary depending on your weight/BF and goals.
Then wait for ~60 minutes to have another meal (carbs, protein and fats).

It doesn't decrease the % absorbed - it will just alter speed of absorption...lnvanry said:taking his creatine (Vitargo) w/ food, protein, any other source of cal, decreases the % of absorbtion.
Emma-Leigh said:Banana does not have a GI of 120. It has a GI of ~50-55 with the average of all the studies done is ~52 (so the GI is lower than sweet potato and is about the same as brown rice)... But yes, for a serving size of ~120g the GL is moderate at ~13.
