Ran out of Creatine, What is the Best Brand?

Creatine is great!! I used it all last month, great results. I used the MetRX CR10 Creatine (individual packets) mixed with Cytomax (Carb powder) and 5 g of glutamine.

Well I ran out and its WAYYY to expensive for me to continue using monthly (friend gave me his package cuz he didnt like flavor and its $40 for 20 packets) and it didnt have anything special to make it worth it.

What is the best brand or type to get? Is Cell-Tech good? Money isnt an issue as long as the product will last and is worth it.

I like the Met-Rx Micronized creatine. It's no more expensive than any other high-quality creatine.

Very similar product to Met RX...Cytodyne's Phosphaplex...high quality SKW creatine with ribose, etc....but better buy. I've been using it and like it alot.

twin labs micro-nized works for me,,cell techs costly for what you get,i'm not knocking it,i have not tried it yet.i have alot of people ask me about so next month i am going to give it shot,i'll let ya know then

I recently used Prolab Creatine. It was creapure, whatever that means to you other than it is supposed to be more refined. I now have Met-Rx micronized.

The Prolab was about $20 for the 300gm + 300gm deal and the Met-Rx was $23 for the 1000gm bottle.

I mix mine in a bottle with powdered gatorade. When I finish my last set I head for the water fountain and do the mixing thing. Then drink up on the way back to the office.

i tried some prolabs creatine loading drink...
i looked at the ingredients, and it had silica in it... it felt really weird going down teh first time.. but after a while, it was ok. now i assume that the silica is just a cheap filler material, so i dont think i'm gonna buy anymore prolabs stuff

TITrated eh? . What does it have in it?

I use Cre-X-12 by PVL nutrients. It's a Canadian company. Great price and has lots of goodies in it.

It has creatine monohydrate, however, it is titrated...this means the creatine been PH adjusted to increase its soluability, allowing up to 95% or the creatine to go into solution. This will give you better absorption than regular creatine.

I just use a brand called 'NOW'. Im not sure who makes it. Its inexpensive and it works for me. One cannister lasts me about 3 months. Not too bad for about 10 bucks. Golds here in waco promotes it so it must not be too bad. BTW Im due to by a new batch this week LOL.
Oh yeah it really does work for me. I really noticed it once when I failed to take it on a chest and back workout day. I felt it all weekend. The stuff works.

You need to drink shitloads of water w/ creatine....try doubling your current intake.

You might do better with a brand that is TITRATED. Its PH is adjusted to be more absorbable. It will draw less fluid into the gut and perhaps alleviate your stomach aches. 2 companies sell this type of creatine...IDS and MUSCLELINK.

I have used abotu 4 different brands over past 3 years and now stick to one brand only.. Cell-tech from Muscletech. I noticed better gains in both size and strength over the other brands. I also like the idea of taking it post workout for my high gh carbs.. 35grams, 5g of creatine So I count this as part of my carb intake through the day...

I haven't noticed any real difference from brand to brand. I just use a reputable brand at a low price.
