At age 73 shoulder surgeries limit my shoulder movements to the point that I am unable to rest a BB across my traps to do GM???s. Is there a substitute compound exercise to replace it? Is theRDL just as effective? Earl
SLDL would be good, even a slight bend in the knees could be more comfortable, keeping it light and focusing on stretch and contraction. Cable rows will hit an entirely different muscle group then what the OP is wanting to focus on with this change, which is his posterior chain (hams and glutes)...
