Ignorant people like this jackass actually run the country and pass laws. The tragic thing is, he will probably win.

Just a fucking shame that guy. Literally, is he that stupid and twisted in the head from his BS fundamental Christian beliefs? Its as bad as some of the Hoosiers in Indiana. I would distance myself from him too!!!

Unbelievable!

I am ashamed to admit that not only is he my congressman, I actually voted for him over two apparently much better candidates in the primary a couple of weeks ago.:wits:

My mistake! I hope the Republican party throws him under the bus and gets him off the ticket for the November senatorial election. People like him, and I don't care which party it is, have
no business being in any position of power over anybody let alone making and passing legislation on a national level that affects us all. I knew he was a fundamentalist christian but I had no idea he was that
far out there. The guy is a total toolbag incapable of basic reasoning skills. I couldn't be more embarrassed for the state of Missouri. It's no wonder people think we're all a bunch of meth head
hillbillies!

Got a message for you Todd:

STFU and quit! Just go home and never stick your head out the door again. Seriously. Just go away.

Just 1 of a million.

These guys don't represent you or I.

She shouldn't even consider voting republican.

In the case of an illegitimate rape, the woman clearly wanted it and was asking for it. Therefore, abortion shouldn't be an option. Sounds like the Joe Biden of the Repubs.

^^ I voted for him too :(

have he no shame...

on a funny note, he reminds me of Hank Johnson, here's one of his many ridiculous statements "I fear the island of Guam may capsize (tip over) if we put anymore military on it"

You guys aren't being fair. If Biden and Obama can be full of gaffes and just have Jay Carney say, "what he meant to say was..." this guy should be no different.
And, Claire McCaskill is a sellout to Missourians. She was the deciding vote for Obamacare and all it took was an airplane ride on AF1. She must be a cheap date. :coffee:

illegitimate rape is when a whore fucks a guy, regrets it in the morning because she feels like a whore, and accuses the guy of rape so she can look at herself in the mirror.

just thought id clear that one up, as far as the congressman.. guy is retarded :coffee:

I was living in St. Louis for the past 2 years because of a duty assignment before moving back to the east coast about 4 months ago. When I was there, she definitely wasn't a hot topic. People hated her.

We live in SW Missouri.. At the time when she was campaigning, she was fully respected. Akin was the black sheep if you will, and looks like its "game over" now!! She sold out completely. I was 3rd responder to the Joplin MO tornado, during a visit from Claire, she was booed and people were yelling "sell out" .. It looked horrible.

Nothing that Obama nor Bush said was ever as dumb as this, and they both have had some doozies...

How about the "you didn't build that" comment? That was a good one, huh?

Not at all. There's a big difference between screwing up your speech and flat out making stupid claims.

it's called the truth...virtually free money out of the FED and low interest rates is what enabled the development of the private sector in the US. w/o the government intervention (policy) and the cheap money out of the FED it NEVER would have happened...

and government agency's all during the early 1900's to the 70's provided the majority of the R&D for defense, healthcare, etc..it's all historical data which of course you haven't read...because why would you do that, when it's so much easier to do nothing and listen to politicians, that takes no effort at all...

Swear to god these mother fuckers want to keep us in those medievel times.

Meanwhile, those mayans had the stars and their movements nailed down to a T. Almost as precise than we do today with modern technology.

These guys try and tell you that if you're ever raped, you can't become pregnant ?

WTF!?

Rape Axe is all I have to say!

You took it out of context. You can't become pregnant if you are legitimately raped. If you become pregnant, then it clearly wasn't a legitimate rape. A woman's body has a way of shutting the process down if it is a true rape. You must be a liberal.

Actually the Mayan calendar is far more accurate than what we have today. And it was the Spaniards that all but destroyed any sort of documentation the Mayans had about their calendar and prophecies. Destroyed in the name of christianity.

When taken out of context, yes.

lol, listen to the speech without your liberal filter turned on, and you'll hear it for what he meant.

Rather than try to justify what he said in Roanoke, VA; it goes a little bit deeper than that. He truly believes that government is the solution to all problems in American. He believes that a massive expansion of government is what is in the best interest for all American's. I believe that all of these "missteps" when he gives speeches just reflect the true mentality that he has towards America and Americans.

I wholehearted agree with you SECDRL, his ideas for America are to be more like Europe, he doesn't believe we are exceptional, he would rather be like the next guy fitting in behind, rather than standing out and leading. Ironically, it's our American values that enabled him, now he would like to change them. :dwnthumb:

There's a movie out now based on D'inesh Souza's book. "The Roots of Obama's Rage." I think the movie is called Obama:2016. It's supposed to be pretty intense and reflect the true motives and beliefs of the president. And, because of that, the movie isn't getting much media coverage. I'm going to see it this weekend. Ironically, it's playing at a theatre about 4 blocks from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

We are ranked number one in nothing except for maybe obesity. The United states as a people is far from exceptional. What the US is supposed to stand for could be consisered exceptional, but we fail miserably at that.
