Does anyone particularly like/trust any brand/manufacturer of fish oil caps or liquid (never done straight liquid with fish oil).

I've always just bought Natures Valley omega 3's at the drug store.

Costco sells wild salmon and fish oil - 300 caps for 15 bucks.

I buy mine from Life Extension Foundation - It's' like 25 bucks for 1-1.5 month supply.

Carlson's liquid fish oil is great stuff. And for the price your getting a ton of epa/dha.

Just started using GNC Cod Liver Oil. High production standards. You get 94 servings of ~850 mg EPA/DHA for $12. Lots of Vitamin D, so you probably wouldn't want more to take more than 2 servings per day.

How much vitamin D is in a serving?

Edit: found it GNC Liquid Norwegian Cod Liver Oil - GNC - GNC

Calories from Fat 40.00
Total Fat 4.50 g 7%
Saturated Fat 1.00 g 6%
Polyunsaturated Fat 1.50
Monounsaturated Fat 1.50
Cholesterol 30.00 mg 10%

DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid)(omega-3) 377.00 mg **
Vitamin A 4600.00 IU 92%
Vitamin D 460.00 IU 115%

I take 3000 mg EPA/DHA and 3000 IU vitamin D, so I'd need four servings of this a day for the Omega-3, and I'd still supplement with 1000IU vitamin D.

Not so sure about the vitamin A though. RDA is listed here as 3000 IU, but that may be considerably lower than "optimal", must less "toxic".

Cool, they put a little vitamin E in there (you need it with Omega 3).

I'd need six of these a day for 3g EPA/DHA; a bottle would last me 21 days - basically it would cost me about $18 a month to get the equivalent dose to my Costco brand (for comparison, $15 a month).

Not at all a bad deal considering the quality. Thanks for posting that, Nate.

They have lot's of fish Oils. These are called Super Omega 3. I've been taking 3.24 EPA/DHA with 9 caps from other brand and will take 7 or 6 of these.
