Does anyone know where I can buy a heavy duty resistance band to assist in my pull ups?

I would like for it to hold over 200lbs. Thanks!

you can buy bungie chords at home depot for far cheaper. You can also just do negatives off of a chair till you build up your strength.

You have a name and does it hold a lot of weight? Thanks

They dont hold weight they add. They would take place of chains. As in bench lets say you have 135 in weight add one band to each side of bar. As you press up you go from 135 to 175-200 slowly. As you come back down the resistance comes down. Just search for resistance bands on ebay. They come in 25-75-100-150-200 lbs.sets of 2.

I have been using Body lastics resistance bands, when i cant get to the gym and they go all the way up to something like 300lbs. For me its also a great alternative to the gym because most of the resistance is at the top of the lift compared to the bottom with weights.

Weight plates are better than bands.

Variable Resistance

Combining "weights" and band with Ascending Strength Curve Exercise allows you to more completely overload the movement through the entire range of range of motion.

Ascending Exercises

1) Squats

2) Deadlifts

3) Leg Press

4) Good Mornings

5) Pressing Movements: Bench, Incline, Decline, and Shoulder
