When trying to bulk up and put on muscle mass how long should rest periods between each set be?
 
As long as you need within reason. Sometimes I rest up to 5 minutes on really intense squat and deadlift sets.
 
You don't wanna stop sweating. If you do then you're resting too long.
 
90 to 120 seconds work good for me on a bulk. Jus sit down after the set and get your breathing under control and suck up as much oxygen into your blood. Any longer you might start to loose the extra blood out of the area you working. IMO bro-science
