I'm planning to begin another 6-8 week cycle of UD2. I'm looking to begin Saturday, July 3rd. For the past two months I've been consuming 3800-4000 calories so I'm wondering if I can abruptly switch over to 1200 or less calories or is it better to go on maintainence calories for a week or two?

It's in the book, jackass. Have you read the book? Have you purchased the book? Or did you aquire a copy through the "How dare you steal from Lyle Almighty" Black Market?:paddle:
:funny:

I think I remember Lyle mentioning something about ramping up (or down) to maint. calories. Seems like a drop of 50% might be problematic. But I'mnot certain......I haven't read the book.:D

I... I.... I.. read the book Mr. Lyle... sir.

I remember him saying if you were on any kind of deficit type diet, then yes, go to maintainence to level out all those hormones but in my purchased copy of UD2, I didn't see anything about being on a bulk.
I suppose a week on Maintainence wouldn't hurt but I am afraid to go down too low.. you know how I've been struggling just to keep the scale high. Maybe I need to re-calculate a maintainence number. 2700 doesn't seem right when I start losing on the scale with as little as 3200.

My point was that you should gradually reduce your caloric intake instead of just jumping right down to 1200, or whatever. Since you have more of an issue with maintaining weight (hardgainer) you (notbig) may want to evaluate (eat donuts) as you go as not to screw up your metabolism. (narrow ass) :nerd:

:D

 Oh, man thats funny. I was actually less insulted because the font was much lighter.

What do you think... should I put it in a new journal?

I don't wanna be the guy cluttering up IM with lots of unfinished.....

Clutter up Imag? Are you kidding? I've got like five of 'em in the journal graveyard! :D

I went through a period when I was moody like Juggynots...I'd get disgusted with myself and ditch the journal, lol!

Okay then, screw it. I'll do a new journal when I begin UD2 next weekend.
As for calories... I'm looking at having to cut between 2500-2600 calories for the better part of each week.
I'm thinking that's about 400 calories less every day this week. Will that be a gradual enough reduction or should I taper off less per day for longer than a week?
On the bright side, I'm hoping for a slight advantage due to my HRT. On a cruise dose of 200mg/week of Test C, I think I should be less prone to muscle loss due to calorie restriction.
Thoughts?

Cut on 2500? I hate you. No really, I do.

Actually, I have to cut 2500-2600 OUT of my current diet to get down to 1200-1300, so you can hate me less now
