ricky williams

I agree.

If I was still healthy (injury wise), & played for a ball club that loved me & was in a place where fans loved me, there's no way I'd retire that young.

Provided I stayed healthy & was on a member of a ball club that protected me off the field as well as on, I'd stay until at least 30yrs old.

But what fantasma62 says about Ricky making most of his money in Miami is true.

& with that said he basically only had a couple of years worth of a salary.

That money can only last so long if he's not careful with it. If he blows it all on travelling & pot than it will run out really fast.

Even with that link I supplied with Ricky signing the final papers preventing him from playing this year, that means Ricky's out of $8million & I think he may come back for the 2005 season. But with Miami? Who knows, he may pull a shocker & go somewhere like Jacksonvill or Tenesee with Eddie George's departure to the Cowboys or The Buffalo Bills.

But I think he'll realize that A. he made a mistake halfway through this year & while watching games on tv & B. that he needs to continue to make more money for the next few years which will convince him to come back for 2005.

Ricky is out of his brain. The pot is going to choke him up. He wants to do whatever and whenever with no rules and regulation regarding NFL that is why he wants out. I would like to see him after 2 or 3 years from now. He should get a professional help before kill himself on pot and other shit.

Completely agreed.

He is clearly only thinking about pot.

He is apparently apart of a support group & has failed 3 tests or something while being a member of that group.

A part of me thinks he retired b/c he knew that he'd be suspended by the league b/c of their substance abuse rule.

So he reitires to avoid suspension & all the hype so he can just relax & smoke all the pot he wants to.

Then another part of me says he's just a weird guy with sever Anx/Dis.

Hey Johnnny, I couldn't agree with you more. In fact, I have had the same thoughts, but for what I understand, ok I won't lie, for what I read, he got upset because he was busted for a third time. He had his mouthpiece Dan Lebatard from the Miami Herald and ESPN saying that we should be happy for Ricky because he iwas doing what he wanted and that his drug use was not as bad as the widespread around the NFL. Later he told LeBatard, after he had stuck his neck out for him, that he was really upset about the third test.
If he were to try to come back now that he presented his retirement papers, he would have to accept a 4th failed test, even if he didn't fail, which brings about an indefinite suspension....He's screwing up and he may not even realize it...

...and now Ricky wants to play for the Raiders...He said he may be back next year but not with the Dolphins.

The weed is working out well...He's flaky, I told ya'll.....

You have a report of this?

& where did you hear this unsurprising news?

Do you have a link?

Well now a days everyone wants to play for the Raiders. Take a look at Warren Sapp?

He turns down an amazing contract from the Bengals where he would've fit very well in that defensive squad to go to the Black & Silver.
He may just want to relax this year & come back next year think about things & get his life together & just chill.

No link. The news appeared in every tv channel in Miami....
