Ringworm cure....

I believe home remedies to get rid of ringworm are worth considering... But you cannot forget about the importance of personal hygiene to be safe.. What is your opinion on that?..

I am just now getting rid of this. I've had it once before and used Ketoconazole(sp?) prescribed and that worked. This time around I used lotrimin from Wal-mart and then had a doctor look at it and prescribe something else.

Anyone know how to tell when it is gone? Lol. I keep applying my cream out of paranoia.

i had it several times as a wrestler. a good way to prevent it is Defense soap (it has antifungal properties). if you already have it, there's Lotramin and other over the counter stuff, but it's worth to just go to the doc and get the prescription ointment. it kills it and it's gone in a couple of days with that. they have pills too, but i've heard that they're hard on your liver so be cautious.

I appreciate it. It looks like it's gone but I have no idea. I've looked into the fight soaps and may pick some up sometime
