good or bad? If you get like a arm roast from the store and cook it in a crock-pot. Is this too high in saturated fats or anything like that?
 
Damnit, I can eat for days off of those things. Oh well, wonder if there is a way to prepare it and cut some of the fat out of the picture. Kinda like how you can do that with ground beef?
 
If I remember right roasts have fatty side that you could trim then prepare and don't use a gravy with the juices all of that could cut it down by some.

what's wrong with a beef roast? Absolutely nothing. The key is to choose a leaner cut of meat for a roast, add in all your veggies and seasonings and it's a great meal.
 
Thats my point exactly Jodie. Like I said if you cook a large enough lean joint you can have the meat for ur meals during the week, like I tend to do sometimes
