Schwarzenegger slams ???Terminator,??? open to ???Triplets???

Former California "Governator" Arnold Schwarzenegger is back in Hollywood and pulling no punches. Currently working on back-to-back film projects, Schwarzenegger says he is open to doing sequels to his prior blockbusters???but only if they are done well???he recently told Collider.com.
"'Terminator'??? the last one was awful. It tried hard, not that they didn't try, the acting and everything. It missed the boat," the action star-turned-politician said of 2009's "Terminator Salvation" (with Christian Bale)???the last installment of the iconic film franchise originally launched by James Cameron back in 1984. (It also is the only film not to star Schwarzenegger.)
Schwarzenegger got particularly excited about the idea of a follow-up to the 1988 comedy "Twins." He and Danny DeVito would reprise their roles while Schwarzenegger expressed keen interest in a new recruit for what would be called "Triplets." "I'd find somebody like Eddie Murphy or someone [laughs] that people would say, 'How does that happen, medically speaking?' and, 'Physically, there's no way,'" he said.
The again-actor also expressed that his image may need time to heal before he can approach family-themed sequels: "Or 'True Lies 2,' with that we'll probably have to wait a little bit because it's more of a family kind of a movie??? My personal situation doesn't work so well right now. Until that's settled, then we can go off and do that again, with family subjects. [laughs]."
In the meantime, Schwarzenegger is keeping busy, having wrapped films "The Expendables 2," "The Last Stand," and is set to work on "Unknown Soldier" and "The Tomb." Action flick "The Expendables 2" will hit theaters in mid-August and also stars a returning cast of Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, and Jet Li, with the new addition of Jean-Claude van Damme.
