I was wondering the different techs for ridding the body of ugly hair. I have tried SEVERAL products and such which all do an ok job at removing the hair but i have a problem with ingrown afterwards. i trie everythin to keep them to a minimum. anyone have any suggestions that used to have this problem? i found that tanning helps some but i dont always haver time for that
any help will be appreciated

I use a hair trimmer (like the barbershops use) without an attachment. No ingrown hair, but you dont get as close as with a razor. Its less "bristly" on the ladies also than shaving. I do it about once per week (I'm hairy) or so and it works great. I wouldnt do it for a comp, but just to show the definition it works great.

wax...not the do it yourself stuff, get it done by a pro

i have tried all sorts of do-it-yourself crap like the aussie crap nads and all is the same...mybe ill price the prof and give it a try

Professional waxing hurts like a mother fucker. Oh.. and be sure to exfoliate before going.

the nads crap does to.... and i tried some other wax on these sheet and it actually caused me to bleed. pain is cool but not blood

Hi Rgrmike,

Shaving is not the answer at all. It just is not.

There are creams that do a very good job and I hate to say it right now I can not think of the brands...

I would check out creams that DO work - they certainly are safer and more effective and some even say they are long lasting. Try going to a local health club and asking Guys there what they use. You also might try asking a Pharmacist you can trust - there are those that really know what they are talking about and are willing to help you even more readily than a doctor and they deal with various medicines all the time and can be very knowledgeable.

Take Care, John H.

tea tree oil....put a bit of this on the area before you go, it has a slight anesthetic effect and take a few aspirin. It'll still hurt, but its not as bad. Have fun!

I wouldn't recommend Nair if that's what John is referring to. That stuff burns and I didn't think it was very effective.

Nair Sucks! I agree completely with Kimber, have a professional do it. It grows in much finer also so you don't have to get waxed too often.

You go girlfreind :)

 (sorry)

Exfoliating is the best way to prevent and get rid of ingrowns. I also use this stuff from Sally Beauty Supply called No Bump RX, smells nasty so only use before bed. Waxing isn't really an option for me since most of my hair is blonde and I leave the salon w/ half the hair still there :( Can't wait til they figure out a way to do laser on blondes.

Why cant they use a laser on blondes? Thats the same shit I have.. its in a green bottle. Its bad :fart:

From what I understand, the laser needs the pigment in the hair to I guess target the hairs, otherwise it's harder to differentiate between the skin and hair.

Greek is right. I did an appointment for laser to learn more about it, and to hope that it wasnt so $$. IT is hugely $$ and they need pigment to "lase". Black hair works the best. But to do your back (in 2 parts 3 times each) was about $2400. Then there is still the chest, stomach and legs and arms. All seperate costs. IT would probably cost about $8000-10000 total. Creams dont work for shit. I have tried them all. They all burn, only work about 50% of the time and just look like shit. I'm telling you, hair trimmer.

Hi Kimber,

No that's not it. I can't remember.

It seems to me I remember something that was made in Australia advertised recently that was supposed to be good. Anyone ever hear of anything from there? And how does it work?

NADS is what you are talking about and it SUCKS ROYALLY. Unbelievable pain. I would sooner dig out each hair follicle with a rusty branding iron.

yes nads is a waste of money and time. in fact i have 2 unopened bottles here 4 anyone who wants it. Anything that says "Buy now and wee'll throw in xamount free" say clear it is shit, thats why they give it away!

My lesson was learned

I thought NADS was OK.. Just like waxing. I had a girl do it, and she seemed to enjoy hearing me scream in pain

Nair works ok if you leave it on long enough, I found Nair for Men to be LESS irritating than the regular version, weird huh? Yeah I wanted to try it, No I'm not a man. But it still doesn't get me smooth like shaving does. I've read they are working on a special dye for the hair that will only darken the ROOTS under the skin so us blondes can get laser, but til they come out with that and I find myself a sugar daddy, I gotta deal..

I got some sugah for you baby

I think they have already come out with that, because I see blondes all over the place with dark roots. :p

Oooh Premiwemi *hubba hubba* :eyebrow:

BKC, Electrolysis is extremely slow, painful and expensive. Go with laser.

 @ MTN, hahahah! If I was a brunette, I wouldn't have this problem!!!

Honestly, nair works for me. It says leave on for no longer than 10 minutes. I leave on for 10 and it works great. No rash or burn. I DO NOT recommend going over 4 minutes on the uh........... how should I say this........the "tender" regions!!! :evil2:

clippers on the parts I can reach.

IM in the process of doin laser removal on my back, im fortunate enough to have a family friend that owns her own machine, she is doin my whole back for me for 1500CDN.

One thing , lasering hurts like a bitchhhh, i been waxed before many times, and to be honest id rather get waxed then get lasered, shit burnnssss and it crackss when it hits the pigments, and some spotss mann o mannn sends chills up my spine all the way to my head.
