Black churches have had a long history of advocating Democratic candidates. Hell, they even have them speak at worship services.

I personally think the IRS is announcing their campaign to nab political churches well in advance so they can't be accused of racism when they start nailing churching to the wall. I was the web master of our church site for a long time and made damn sure there were not even any links to polical sites.

Whoever manages that funds at churches are a bunch of fucks anyway. They spend all this money on stained glass windows, marble floors, gold leaf paint, etc. If you actually pay attention to the messages of Jesus, you would realize that God doesn't give a fuck if you worship him in front of a tree or in an ornate building. That money needs to goto feeding the poor, building homeless shelters, helping get medication to those who need them, etc.

Yes, I'm religious, by the way. Technically I'm a Catholic, but I hardly practice at this point because the church pisses me off. They just don't get it a lot of the time.

I went to my nephew's christening this past winter and they passed the plate around. My mom tried to hand me the plate and I just stared at her. After Church she said that I should have put money in. I just stared at her again and then told her I would rather spend it on something for the kid than give it to a church.
