I am sure that we can all agree that steroids are not a social "party" drug and should not be illegal. And I`m pretty sure that most of us would say that weed really shouldn`t be banned either.

Waste of tax money trying to keep drugs out and putting drug users in jail.
I don't see why cigarettes and alcohol are ok but weed isn't.

And no I don't smoke weed or do any other drugs (only tren lol)

Where have you been? The worst kinds ARE legal, and the government is making bank on it. Depression, sleep apnia, anxiety, male enhancement; these all have horrible side effects, some risking an easy overdose or increased suicide rates.

I totally agree with you! If weed dealers had lobbyist in DC maybe they could get some reforms past.

LEGAL drugs along with tobacco and alcohol kill way more people than illegal drugs (i dont know if thats really true but it sounds right )

I don't think its true yet, but its definately catching up. We hear about all the celebs, but everyone I talk to who lives in the States seems to be on some sort of anti-depressant, sleep aid or mood disorder medication.

Legalize marijuana. The govt can tax it. Help with our countrys debt. Just regulate like the alcohol laws.

All should be legal. Even the ones talked about here on a daily basis.

Definitely legalize and regulate(in a non overzealous manner) steroids and marijuana. It would increase revenue for the US (both public and private) and improve safety. With steroids becoming legal and less taboo, I think education about them would greatly improve; both general education and research would improve but also teenagers could learn about steroids from reliable sources instead of their friends. It would help prevent people from making poor choices due to ignorance concerning steroids.

My main concern actually isn't safety or economics but liberty. I never do any recreational drugs. Hell, I hardly ever drink but it's not our place to make those decisions for people. Unfortunately many people cannot grasp that just because something is bad doesn't mean it should be illegal. It's a mindset many people have including the leftists and conservative Christians. A good example is San Francisco banning happy meals and trans fats. Yeah, trans fats are bad for you but that in no way entails they should be banned.

I also doubt we should ban the harder drugs. Again if you want to become a crackhead then go for it but I hesitate to put my stamp of approval on it though because I'm not sure what legalizing things like crack would entail. I mean I don't see us regulating crystal meth labs.

I still think all of it should be illegal for minors and DUI laws would still be in place.

I think, that one of the major arguments is just upon your last point, the cigarettes and alchol. With the major usage up in numbers with teens and such, and then also the diseases that arrive by the usage of such...this tends to sway the congress and other agencies to say, "Never"

just my opinon.

personally, because of such..my answer is no, I don't believe that drugs should be legal. I am not a lover of marijuana either, it stinks. I smoked half a cigarette a few days ago and got sick. My breath stank and it was horrible. I don't like the smell of my clothes, nor my friends after they've had their fix; as they smoke a lot and their clothes and such smell even after they've smoked (hours later) stale air and stale smelling clothes are not my idea of fun or surroundings
My DJ friend on Live 105 here in SF years ago, said it best: kissing a smoker is like licking an ashtray:roflmao:

I wish Steroids would become legal.:clapping:

The government shouldn't have any right to tell anybody what they can and cant do to their own body and mind as long as they dont infringe upon the personal choices of others in the process.

All you faggots saying that just steroids and pot should be legal are just as bad as the pricks making these laws.

That mindset is just as pathetic as people who enjoy psychedelics drugs saying "LSD, mushies and DMT should be legal but fuck those muscle head roid raging body builders, roids should stay illegal."

How about we all aim for a tolerant world. One where we can make our own decisions as to what we do in order to forfil our lives, yeah?

What a painful read....

I loved LSD and extacy when i was younger. Made Dave Matthews concerts that much better.

I def think mushrooms should be legal too. I dont even care if coke is. God knows adderal can fuck you up just as good.

But realistically the only ones that have a chance of getting passed into a legal substance are weed and roids. I mean there are tons of websites for steroid users and pot smokers. I have yet to see any for meth heads. lol

Def dont see meth or crack ever getting the nod.

What are the laws in Amsterdam? They dont seem to have any problems.

I completely agree with you. I dont care what anyone else is doing and would force my beliefs or practices on others. :winkfinger:

I spent several years as a substance abuse counselor in a residential facilty. Have worked with lawyers, doctors, nurses, school teachers, pro athletes, housewives, homeless...and all others in-between.

The legal ramifications from drug use are the least problematic issue (in most cases) facing drug users (not talking about dealers). No sermons here from me. Just know, not a single person I ever worked with thought it could/would happen to them. Not one.

I do not think that all drugs should be legal. There is really no valid use or positive effect of allowing crack, meth, pcp, coke, (MDMA is a tough one, but should probably be illegal) or smack to be used recreationally and the negative physical and social effects of these drugs are great enough to merit banning these substances legally (slave trade, extreme addiction, crime to pay for drugs, heart attacks, seizures, sudden death from overdose, paranoid violent delusions, the list goes on)

The government shouldn't have any right to tell anybody what they can and cant do to their own body and mind as long as they dont infringe upon the personal choices of others in the process.

My belief is pretty consistent with this statement, but what I think you need to include in the thought process is that some drugs just by the virtue of their production and effects on people can very easily infringe on the personal choices, lives, and safety of others.

I could go far into detail with which drugs should of shouldn't be illegal and why I think so, but as anyone who has been in the thick of it within the past 5 years knows, there are new drugs coming out every day with varying degrees of danger, effect, and potency. To be honest my opinion remains conflicted for this reason as I think that the issues arise from the government picking and choosing which drugs are o.k. and which are evil based on their own opinions and the only way to really avoid that is an all around illegalization or decriminalization of drugs.

Steroids are a scheduled narcotic....ridiculous.

There's a difference between something being smart to do and something being illegal to do. I doubt that you would find anyone that would claim doing drugs was the smart move, however that doesn't mean it should be illegal.

As long as you taking drugs does not affect others, then it's your own life to screw up. The only time for controlling something is when it affects others negatively such as operating machinery/vehicles, during surgery, etc. If you want to do something stupid in your own free time that doesn't affect anyone, who are we to tell you it's wrong?

I say make every drug legal, no regulation. this way it will thin out the herd and make people more self responsible instead of relying on the government to say what they can and can't have.

That would be great if all drug users had the ability to limit their issues to themselves only. I saw a lot of families torn to bits by this stuff. It goes well beyond the individual in many cases. I have no issue with a guy killing himself, or wrecking his own life with drugs/alcohol (I really don't). But, it doesn't work that way most of the time.

If I could be assured that the next guy jonesing for a heroin fix isn't coming into my house to steal my stuff to pay for it, then maybe.

Ever seen what a grown man will do for crack?
