Calcium is one of the important minerals required by body. Mostly 99% of which is present in bones and 1% in blood.

Your body always maintain 1% calcium level in blood by taking it from bones if you are not consuming enough from diet. Which can make your bones porous and lead to osteoporosis.

So if you know that you have calcium deficiency you can go ahead with supplements. Also it is good idea to increase intake of calcium rich foods along with the supplement.

Here are the symptoms of calcium deficiency:

  1. confusion or memory loss
  2. numbness and tingling in the hands, feet, and face
  3. hallucinations
  4. muscle cramps
  5. weak and brittle nails
  6. an easy fracturing of the bones
Calcium deficiency is easy to treat, you just have to involve more calcium to your diet via food or supplements.
