Whenever I do chest day, my shoulder gets extremely stiff/tired after doing a nice set of one of the big 3 (flat, incline, decline) I've taken time off, switched from dumbbells to bar, to lighter weight nothing seems to help it. I should note that I do have back problems.

Any suggestions before I workout? I stretch and warm up. After I hit hard, I have to go lighter on everything else because my shoulder is worn out, it's just one though not both. Sometimes it aches, then I know to chill and move on.

The shoulder's the most complex articulation in the body :/ It could be many problems. I suppose it can't hurt to supplement on cold liver oil and maybe glucosamine if you buy in that shit.

At some point I was injurered a few times to my shoulders and I took peptides such as cjc-1295 and ghrp-2 to speed up recovery of ligaments. I do not know if your problem comes from ligaments or something else. All I know is that I feel ya man for your back. It's a bitch. I have stretched ligaments in the upper part of my back and pretty much permanent bitch chronic pain.

Others will probably enlighten you better than me. Could be arthritis. IDK. Cod liver oil will help to some extent. GL

Can you try to pin point a little deeper into the shoulder issue. Muscle, bones, tendons?

Shoulder issues are the very reason I no longer do BB bench. Zero issues with dumbbells but it was a learning curve. Started only with 75s(and this was super heavy) and now hit the 130s.

Vannes has talked about shark liver oil if its cartilage related. If its muscle related a better warm up might be needed. When in doubt, get in to see a doctor man.

Problem is my gym only goes to 100 db and im able to hammer those easy.

Maybe have a word with the gym manager? :paddle: 100 is low even for a small gym. Maybe they could consider investing in some 110 to 150?

Back to the point, change what you're doing for a week or two. Do a week with lower weights? Those are just suggestions. A doc will pinpoint the problem easier than us here. Good luck

I would say its deep, its not on the surface and I can't push on it and make it hurt. I have a strong feeling it's linked to my back injury I have.

I feel your pain on the 100lb DB's..........That's all my gym has and they bitch about tape on them. But word is they are either going to get all new Hammer Strength machines or dumbells up to 200's. I would like to see the DB's but I love me some plate loaded machines!

I believe that you should consult a physician specially for shoulder sores
