Currently my plan is modified as I will be doing Shoulders and Abs in day 1, and Chest/Tris in the next day. However, I want to make sure my Shoulder workout won't have too much effect on my Tris so I can rech full potential the next day, so is it alright to give Shoulder Presses a miss and perform other shoulder exercises like Shrugs, raises instead?
 
I personally wouldn't do shoulders the day before chest/tris. when working your chest you use both your shoulders and tris and if you did shoulders the day before that will be too much. as far as shrugs go, they work your traps which are part of your back so they shouldn't be a problem.
 
Shoulder presses are effective but by no means are a must!
