Shoulder soreness?

After a chest workout, my shoulder joints get sore. I've only been lifiting for about five weeks steady now.

I'm doing sets of flat bench barbell, incline bench barbell, and dips for now.

Is this normal? They don't stay sore too long, but are sore for a while after.

I've read about some of the problems people have had with their rotator cuffs and would like to avoid problems.

If you're worried about rotator cuffs, just make sure that you train them one or two times per week.

What part of your shoulders? Front delts? You could try a wider grip, if you're using a narrow grip that will incoporate more front delts.
 
What exercise would you suggest for them? I'm still too new at this to know.

Where I seem to get sore is right at the joint. Seems like it is right where the upper part of the side delts attach.

For all my barbell bench sets, my grip is just inside the "rings" when doing chest. The only time I do a close grip is when doing triceps.

Thanks for those exercises Prince. I get the same type pains when working my chest and my workout buddy had said it is the rotator cuffs.
