siemen and cigarettes?

I'm wasn't sure which subcatigory to file
this under. I guess this is as good as any. ;-)

I have two questions.

1) What affect does smoking have on
muscle creation? This is besides the
obvious shortness of breath. Is there
anything in cigarettes that slow muscle
growth/repair?

2) I've heard that siemen contains lots of
protein. Does this mean I have to
eat/drink an extra 20g of protein on my
my days of release? (serious question)

Im sure youll be just fine as long as you get adequate protein in your diet. Ive never ever heard or read anything about muscle loss because of too much protein lost through ejaculation (LOL) although in some of our cases, it may be truely possible on a good night ;):thumb:
 
I "release" every day and still make nice gains! No worries! :D
 
Carbon monoxide robs your muscles, brain and body tissue of oxygen. This is NOT conducive to muscle-building and repair.

Studies also found that:

Smokers had significantly higher risks of injury while training.

Smokers trailed non-smokers in fitness improvements,
even when smokers and non-smokers started at equal fitness levels.

Exercise is supposed to create microtraumas (small amounts
of damage to tissue) that prompt the body to respond by making
healed tissue stronger. But recovery from exercise takes time,
and smoking may delay recovery.


And we could go on and on...

Exercise promotes Life, Smoking promotes Death.
