Skull Candy, JVC, Klipsch.....Android Ear buds

Earbuds for an Android....I know the volume controls won't work, but best buds for the price.....I have Skullcandy 50/50's right now and the sound is good and mic is good...Was thinking maybe the JVC's were better value at half the price......

Any you kniggs have experience with good buds for a Samsung Captivate(Android)??

Are you talking about earbuds? JVC gummies sound pretty good and can be purchased for cheap. I've also tried ifrogz which fucking sucked (don't buy). I've got some Skull Candy earbuds too which work good, so far, and the sound is good. I think I paid five bucks more for the Skull Candy earbuds than the JVC gummies and I actually did an audio test last night. There wasn't MUCH difference, however I think the JVC sounded slightly better and I got them for half the price, so JCV gummies for the win.

I heard the JVC Marshmallows for $20 is the ticket over Skull Candy 50/50's(which I have) that cost $50....I just need the mic button to control Pause/play/skip etc...answer, end calls...don't care about the volume buttons which only works with Iphones and Ipods unless you try and download a cheesy app to control volume on a droid which normally doesn't work....

You need to look at the specs on the earbuds on the back of the box. Look at the frequency range, power output, ohms, etc.

Dr Dre's cost way too much. I don't have experience with earbuds that have volume control, so I can only give a bit of insight to sound quality on a budget and that it JVC for me - especially on the earbuds level. Other than that I gracefully bow out.

Werd...The Skull Candys I have were a 50 chip and are good....I was just being a Jew and thinking the JVC's for 20 would do the trick for me so I could exchange them(Skull Candys) at Best Buy for the JVC Marshmallows...

Haha, no man you're going to have to fork out a little more than 20 bucks for a decent pair. 50$ shouldn't drain the old bank account though. Save your receipt, my ear buds always wear out near the bottom where the jack plugs in. I get them exchanged for free and usually try out a different pair when I do that to find one I really like.

My Blackberry buds are a nice back-up, but I love the Bass on these Skull Candys...just heard The JVC Marshmallows were comparable as far as sound quality goes(Bass, etc.).......

I loved my Sony's. I had a pair I used exclusivity on my laptop (over the ear, not headbuds). Anyway, they ripped near the plug in jack too even though they have the thickest cord I've ever seen on a pair of phones.

I just picked these up and like them a lot. They fit ridiculously well and are really comfortable. The sound quality is good for the price. They're great for working out; I've been doing 45minutes of interval training everyday and they don't move around when the sweat starts pouring. The guy at the store told me the warranty covers them if they break for any reason and once it expires you can 50% off of it's original price towards a new Bose product if you want. Cost: $100.

Bose will replace theirs if the jack breaks as well or if anything breaks. That's one of the things that sold me.

I stuck with the Skullcandy 50/50's....Bass was too good, plus SC will replace just like Bose if anything breaks...Lifetime warranty.

I have these... They are really good. They do a good job of keeping the pitbull the gym radio is playing out of my sound experience.
They sound better them my old "bumpin buds" from Sony. But they were 20 bucks... As long as these last a little longer. I seem to buy a new pair very 6 weeks.

Werd!! They may not be Bose, but mine are working great and love the bass on my 50/50's. Stay put nicely and the Mic for phone calls is very clear on the other end from what people I call tell me.
