I dont get it. FitDay says its 26% fat? http://www.fitday.com/fitness/FoodView.html?_a_Date=1237420800.&_s_FoodKey=s-fndds2-f27135020

I dont buy it. I see hardly ANY fat in this meat when I buy it. Theyre thin, cutlets and it says Scallopini on the damn packages. Ive bought many of them, so I know what they are. :)

For instance, today I consumed a slightly thicker slick at .34lb and it was over 300 calories? Really?

Can someone clear this up for me, otherwise, I have to ditch this shit.

Scallopini is so delicious! It's the sauce that supplies most of the fat/cals.

Everything in moderation, you can enjoy this great dish every now and again, I do. :)

60 to 70 calories per ounce. 16 ounces in a pound. 4 is a quarter, 5/16= .31

5 would be 300 to 350 calories. Doesnt seem too bad for 1/3 lb of red meat.

It seems kinda high to me. The protein to fat ratio that is.. I mean, 300 calories for hardly any protein and a shit load of fat. Not to mention its still pretty small.

Where are you getting this info at cuz Fitday is scaring me...

Veal is baby, its naturally got alot more fat in it even though you can't see it. I don't see it getting much lower than 60 calories an ounce for meat. Chicken is about 50 per ounce. Estimates.

Did you look at the info for cooked veal? About the same. I wouldnt sweat it.
