Over the last 6 months or so I've been getting some pain in the inside part of my elbows whenever I do standing BB curls or if I'm carrying say a 45lb plate with one hand or anything that pulls my arm down.
Is this like tennis elbow or something? Can I do anything about it?
I've had a weeks break here and there and it just comes right back.

I can't you what the pain is from, but it's happened to me before. Especially the part about carrying a 45lb plate. I'd also feel the pain when doing bench presses. It wasn't a terrible pain, but nagging. I just working through it and it went away (not the best advice though). It took a while...probably a year or so until I felt fine again.

I also hurt my shoulder once. I didn't feel 100% for almost two years after that.

Jsut my experience, Scotty. Sorry if this doesn't help.

Man to Doctor: "Doc, it hurts when I do this."

Doctor to Man: "Then don't do that." "That'll be $400, please.

ALBOB to Scotty: "Where's my $400?"

Sorry dude, I don't have a clue about your elbow problem. I've never heard of the pain being on the inside of the elbow, only the outside.

Scotty,

Do you mean "inside" as in the joint/socket as opposed to the bone/muscle? Or do you mean "inside", as in the part closer to your hip as opposed to the side of your elbow that points outward? I assume you meant the joint. That's where my pain was.

Sounds like you have a strained muscle. You might want to go to the doc.

If it were tendentious, would the doctor give me anything to help it or just tell me to take it easy?

Most likely, he would say take Ibuprofen and rest. Tendons take a lot longer to heal than muscles. I strained some tendons in my chest a couple of years ago and it took 3 months to fully heal.

Ahhhh, so you think I should switch hands now and then hey, or better yet, I could get your wife to do it for me.

Scotty, got the same thing in my left arm only. My left arm has always lagged behind my right and just lately I have had a dull nagging pain in the same area. Keep us posted

If you were to old a BB with your arms hanging straight down, it would be the part of your elbow that's touching your hip.

Its kind of right below the bone, almost where the forearm starts.

Maybe I'll just see a doc, Sounds like the same thing you had baboon, its not a real bad pain but just one that nags.
