Hello,

I was just reading about the different kinds of squash in a magazine and was wondering if anyone has ever tried spaghetti squash? apparently it's supposed to come out like spaghetti.... Anyway, how did you cook and serve it? Any info would be great!!

Berryblis :)

I love spaghetti squash with a little bit of salt and pepper :nanner:

Cut it in half the long way and place it face down in an inch of water. Cover and bake. Once you can insert a fork into it, it's done. Cool off a bit then hold it up and with a fork scrape the squash meat and it will come out like spaghetti. Excellent carb source

Thanks for the info. How long will it last stored in the fridge? (or will it even be good if it's not fresh?) I live by myself so I'm not sure I'd be able to eat the whole thing. Can you just cook it in parts? About how long would estimate to bake it for and at what temp?

Thanks!

Bake it at 375. Yeah cut it in 4 parts and cook it when you want. I know it's good for a week, any longer and I don't know.

You got a picture of spaghetti squash?

love this stuff :thumb:
